Overview

Apptelier (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. This policy applies to our public website and related enquiries. It does not govern third-party websites or services that have their own privacy notices.

By providing personal information to us, you acknowledge the practices described here. Where consent is required by applicable law, we will rely on that consent for the relevant purpose.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

When you request a demo or contact us, we may collect:

  • your service interest, full name, and phone number;
  • your email address, company name, and business type;
  • project requirements, timelines, questions, and other details in your message; and
  • the contents of communications you send by email, WhatsApp, or another contact channel.

Fields marked as optional do not need to be completed. Please do not send sensitive personal information unless we specifically request it and explain why it is needed.

Information collected automatically

When you use the website, we and our technology providers may collect technical and usage information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, timestamps, and interactions with the site. We do not request precise GPS location through this website.

2. How we use information

We may use personal information to:

  • respond to enquiries and arrange a demo or project discussion;
  • understand your requirements, prepare proposals, and provide requested services;
  • send submission confirmations and relevant follow-up communications;
  • operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and our services;
  • measure website performance and understand how visitors use the site;
  • maintain business records and prevent misuse, fraud, or security incidents; and
  • comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use information submitted through the demo form for unrelated third-party advertising.

3. Cookies and analytics

The website uses cookies and similar technologies for functionality, performance measurement, and analytics. Our current analytics tools include Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Ahrefs Web Analytics. These services may set or read identifiers and receive technical usage information.

You can restrict or delete cookies using your browser settings. Blocking some technologies may affect website functionality. Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential cookies, those technologies should be used in accordance with the choices made available to you.

4. Sharing and service providers

We disclose personal information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes in this policy. Providers that may process information for us include:

  • Hostinger for production website hosting;
  • Cloudflare for DNS management;
  • Supabase for secure database storage of enquiries and related records;
  • Resend for confirmation and follow-up emails;
  • Google for analytics, tag management, and web fonts; and
  • Ahrefs for website analytics.

We may also disclose information to professional advisers, regulators, law enforcement, or other parties where required or permitted by law, and in connection with a genuine business reorganisation or transfer. Service providers are permitted to process information only for the services they provide to us and subject to their contractual and legal obligations.

5. International transfers

Some service providers may process or store information outside Singapore. When personal information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives a standard of protection comparable to that required under applicable Singapore data protection law, including through appropriate contractual or other safeguards where required.

6. Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to an enquiry, maintaining project and business records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal or regulatory obligations. When information is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to delete it, anonymise it, or securely isolate it until deletion is possible.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, loss, or disposal. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law and relevant exceptions, you may ask to access personal information we hold about you, correct inaccurate or incomplete information, or withdraw consent to future processing that relies on consent. You may also request deletion or restriction where those rights apply in your jurisdiction.

Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before the withdrawal and may affect our ability to respond to or provide a requested service. To make a request, email hello@apptelier.sg. We may need to verify your identity before completing it and will respond in accordance with applicable law.

You may opt out of promotional email by using an unsubscribe option where provided, or by contacting us. We may still send non-promotional messages needed to respond to an enquiry or provide a requested service.

10. Children

Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can review and address it.

11. Updates to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices, services, or legal obligations change. The latest version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be highlighted on the website where appropriate.
